Hi Skipper, quite welcome and yep--so many out there who wish to royally shaft people. Next chance I get, im going to go to ebay and look up Kiev1943's other aliases and post them here. I had them written down but not sure what happened to my note? Cats probably ate it ;-)

I was over $426.00 in the "hole" with this jerk but, as he actually gets his money from a place called: Protek Trading Company, I searched for them and found an office in Longbeach, Calif, and there was another one located in another State-I forget which one?

Anyway, I had a lot of trouble getting someone on the phone from that company but kept at it until I got to speak with an "Eduard" who clearly didn't want to handle the matter. Well, after a few weeks of being a constant pest-I got a check from them for $326.00 and I was already in the thoughts of writing that money off as a total loss. I then deposited it at my bank-waited three weeks to see if it cleared OK and it did. Then I proceeded to "re-invest" it in more militaria and bought 4 award docs which came with two of four of that mans awards.

Well, guess who sent me several pms and emails shortly after I got my refund-the jerk himself in Kiev. He was pissed off because Protek sent me money from his account and hsaid that next time (not thatI ever intend giving him anymore business) he said next time he would issue me a refund. I told him he still owed me at least $100.00, and he (as usual) lied to me and said my money would be sent and he suggested that I give him my Account info (now how stupid does he think everyone else is?) and I told him a half-lie and said my bank no longer does International transferrs and that I would not be supplying my account info. I said all he needs to do is to contact Protek and have them mail me another chcke from Protek or a US Postal Money Order. This was about 2 months ago and I still have not recieved my $100.00. This guy is ticked off because he has no way of further screwing me and also cannot get that $326.00 back either :-D This jerk though claims in his auctions that if your not happy with an item, you get full refund back. I started contacting him in Feb and it took till late May, before I finally got most of my money back and only then because I threatened Protek Trading Company with a ""friendly"" visit by the Longbeach PD and the Counties Sheriffs Dept-with mail fraud. I guess this creep thought I was born just yesterday-and there was no way I would ever give out my bank account numbers. I also made sure my bank had all details concerning this jerk and w/ Protek Trading Company-just to make sure that nobody was attempting to recover a refund that the dealer clearly did not want to issue. Now if he tried anything-it's way too late and my bank would not release any funds ;-))

I also threatened Kiev1943 with the thought of sicking Interpol after his thieving skin. Of course-on the Interpol thing, I lied my arse off-but lying in this case-got me most of my money back. I've written off that last $100.

Thank you Ray, same here. I managed to get all of those White Camo award pics. I also got two of four of those Panzer EKII award pics. Had my computer been running faster, i'd have all four of those too. That one showinga close-up of the EKs in the 2nd buttinhole-really is a great shot and was the best of the four pics that were being split apart. The other one-a more distant shot-was a good one but the 3rd best of 4 pics. ;-))

I don't have many pics with white camo in them, so getting all of these in this grouping-was really great ;-))

Hi Luke, I used to have the book but about 9 years ago, I mailed it to Germany to give to one of my Uboat/Vet friends. I remember reading it but I don't remember what was written in it ;-)) I also sent him a paperback book that was written about the crew and commander of U 47-and their raid in Scapa Flow. Most of the book was about Gunther Prien.

Thank you Luke, I greatly appreciate that but, if you could do me a favor and please contact 36thVA-and send it to him, he would love to read it. Bill I think was looking for ome good books about the Uboats and its personnel. I've got a few I need to send his way soon as I can recoop my expenses from the recent move ;-))

I have soemthing to offer you as well if you want them? I'd like to at some point in the next several weeks-to send you copies of my pics. By that time, I might have enough to make a 6th photo CD. Just let me knwo if your intersted in them and ill add you to the growing list of recipients ;-))

Take care Luke and hope your Christmas is full of good things-good food, friends, entertainment and weather ;-))

    Sincerel;y-_Carl.

Anyway, I still need to recover a bit financially from my recent move so It might take several weeks before I can make copies? ;-)) If I don't say anything about them after a few weeks? just remind me ;-))

Hi Skipper, and Cheers. Definately no problem on when you can post these for me as im greatful that your willing to post them here for us. I wound up with four total with this current auction.

Nr 1) shows two captured Russian Soldiers. I liked this close-up pic.

[[[As an additional thought on photo Nr 1--these two captured Soviets-were actually the Bielski Brothers  ]]] Just kidding of course ;-))

Nr 2) is a GJ Officer with a CCCiB, and I believe I know who he is. Trouble is, is I don't yet have access to my reference books. It might take me 5 months before I can post names. this man was in GJ regiment 98-a regiment that I own a nice pair of boards to ;-)) Also, if this is who I think he is? then that set of 98 boards I have-were his-but as a Major and not an Oberleutnant ;-))

Oh and, this officer went on to higher accomplishments as the war progressed.
