    Wasn't the back uncovered?
Ma Deuce Day on the 15th. A certain state emergency reaction team has mine on permanent loan. They make sure I get some trigger time every year.

    Pant pant, wheeze wheeze.
Oh what may have been. To soar through the Heavens and touch the hand of God, then return to Earth and raise Havoc.

it could take anything up to 7.62…so that covered 99% of the opposition…You still needed an anti tank gun and rounds to take it out…As I said, better than just running at a machine gun…Although as I’ve said in the past…running with a shield would have been a game changer IMO…just because something was left or stopped doesn’t mean it’s a bad idea…They could have had parachutes back then too…but didn’t.

This one isn’t easy…don’t be fooled by the markings…Delta wings and everything…Think which country does weird arsed designs…?

Looks like an Aurora aircraft…I’m still waiting for a concept I thought of 20 years ago to be integrated into these new aircraft…a closed cockpit, a dark capsule inside the aircraft…The pilot puts on his helmet, flicks a switch, and the aircraft disappears. The pilot sees a representation of his controls and readouts, beyond that is the sky…all around. I think some 6th generation aircraft may use this (the above aircraft may already given the lack of vision to the pilot…7th generation? Should be pilotless I’m afraid.

Training film from 1974. Carrier is HMS Ark Royal.
Recreated the accidental loss of an aircraft over the side, in an effort to prevent it from happening again.

It's a French aircraft. Buggered if I can remember the name, I'm going to have to root through my books

Edit - found it! Payen PA22. Sadly destroyed by Allied bombing
