The pinnipeds put in for some heavy gun boats a few times. Mostly we went up river with our dicks in our hands.

The Patrol Boat, Riverine is heavily armed and heavily armoured, It has a bow ramp allowing easy loading/off loading of troops and equipment. It can carry 18 troops in the troop landing mode. It has a versatile weapons load with a twin LWM launcher capable of launching guided missiles and guided/unguided rockets, and is capable of laying mines and depth charges. Patrol Boat, Inshore (PBI) Patrol Boat, Inshore The Patrol Boat, Inshore is meant for port control, security and force protection missions. It is lightly armed and is more of a general purpose light vessel than some of the other models in the unit. Patrol Boat, Riverine - Fire Support Patrol Boat, Riverine - Fire Support The Fire Support version of the Patrol Boat, Riverine uses the same hull design as the regular PBR bur has a completely redesigned top side layout. The weapons layout is particularly strong, based around twin automatic 120mm mortars and a quadruple LWM launcher for guided missiles or guided/unguided rockets.

Not on an aircraft no...Sky Raiders had a Wright R-3350 Duplex-Cyclone in an twin-row, supercharged, air-cooled, radial aircraft engine with 18 cylinders displacing nearly 3,350 cubic inches. Power ranged from 2,200 to over 3,700 hp, depending on the model. Perhaps you are referring to the (rocket?) strapped to its belly? We had a Sky Raider ex pilot on the forum about 10 odd years ago...
