Sooo no…My eyes are shot these days. Big hands don’t mix with fiddley things either…A niche model type, cool but not something I’d collect.
A woman charged with public indecency was asked "Were you covered by anything during your performance?" She responded "workers' compensation"
The newly completed USS Iowa (BB-61) is inclined at the dry dock on March 28, 1943 at what was then known as the Bayonne Navy Yard in New Jersey, opposite New York. If you look into the harbor just over Iowa’s #3 16” turret, you can see a Staten Island ferry underway.
I don’t know how “cool” this is but a tanker truck with 8500 gallons of fuel caught fire and burned for hours under this collapsed overpass on route 95, northbound, just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Sunday morning . The extreme heat caused the overpass to collapse causing major problems for travel on this major corridor of highway that runs north and south along the eastern coast of the U.S. The smoke was so thick that even the southbound lane was closed. Hundreds of Thousands of vehicles use this road every day and it’s going to be a nightmare for Philadelphia and for drivers heading north on 95 with the detours in and around this disaster and through Philadelphia. It’s a miracle that no cars fell with it but the highway was blocked off from the smoke and heat before the roadway collapsed. The governor of Pa. has declared a state of emergency for the area. The fuel and fire ran into storm drains and was blowing off manhole covers in the lower streets nearby. They expect it to be months before the road is reopened. They found the driver dead. It is thought that the truck rolled over taking the curve. .
