I was stationed there in 1966 with the Navy, Quarters K, just up the road from Ft. Meyer and the cemetery. I went there often and to the movies at the theater at Ft. Meyer. Quarters K was off the Columbia Pike. It has been gone now for many years and it was up from where now, the Air Force memorial is today. DC was fun to visit back then for its history and night life.
