If that Al-Zarqawi guy used it than it must be a really cool guy, because he had guys do everthing for him evan clear the gun when it jammed.

    i support FN Slaughterfall :bang:

and the Yugoslav SKS looks cool, mostly because it's the only SKS copy to sport a grenade launcher: http://img85.exs.cx/img85/7240/sks3.jpg

Hmmm. FN Slaughterfall is definetly intimidating. I wonder what other ideas people have.

I don't know how real it is,but Jesse Ventura's mini-gun in Predator still takes the cake as the all time coolest.I can't believe I didn't think of that sooner.

The minigun cannot be held an fired by anyone short of Superman (Jesse fired blanks in the movie). Just imagine the recoil generated by 100 rounds a second. I have read somewhere that Jesse Ventura actually had to wear a bullet proof vest to protect against the spent shells violently ejected from the minigun.

If it were real (I wish), it would surely come in handy when you need to clear your backward of any unwanted trees! :smok:

A friend of mine was in the Army a while ago.He said he fired something similar to Jesse's mini-gun.As for recoil,he said another G.I. had to stand behind him to hold him up while he was firing the weapon.

The Miniguns are all electric powered. To use one, you will have to carry a power source with you. For some reason, they left out the generator in the movie.

Miniguns are also quite heavy. I can't imagine anybody being able to actually hold one and operate it.

Well if they're so heavy and un-mini, why are they called miniguns in the first place?

Because they're scaled down versions of the Vulcan aircraft cannon, and compared to that they are mini.

For the coolest looking gun of WWII, the MG-42 has no competitors.

I don't know. That MG-42 of yours looks a bit more tangled up than cool. Anyway, from what I've seen, I support the .50 cal. M2 heavy machine gun.

No worries, dave. They're enough to give us a good impression of the gun.

Personaly, I like someting I can hold while I shoot it. I like the Japanese Type 5 rifle. Or if all else fails, an MP-40.
