All my RW friends have been sending me that. I can see how their presentation of almost truth leads them to their conclusions. Fresh air is good. Can't deny that. Should we believe the doctors like Dr Fuici who have spent their careers studying pandemics or two small town urgent care docs?

We had a doc who told the local paper that his career goal was to invent something to make millions. He was giving my wife breast exams at every visit. Sore throat? Breast exam. Sprained ankle? Breast exam. Blood workup? Breast exam.

Something really strange with that vid. It seems to be from Covid 19 channel on Youtube. Covid 19 appears to be a CDC youtube channel. Your vid does not appear in the Covid 19 lineup on Youtube. Something very fishy.

Fauci and company have a lot invested in people thinking the virus is more lethal than similar viruses like Flu. When this thing started there was no testing, no background, no information, and they were only getting reports on the most severe cases. So they took the wiser course and presented the worst face to the country. If they had known that 99.9% of cases weren't sick or identified, they'd have done it differently. I don't blame them for the early miscalculation.

Nobody seems to notice or grasp what I'm saying with the links to antibody tests that I've presented, but since 30% of people in Boston, and 21% of people in NYC are testing positive (have had the virus) then the spread is exponentially wider than we thought, yet when taking into account that wide spread the fatality rate drops to nil. If you're one of those unlucky people that have a comorbidity that puts you at greater risk (I'm such a person) then *we* should stay locked down and cautious. The great majority of people just don't get sick, or only mildly sick, so why should they be out of a job missing their mortgage or rent, struggling to keep their life on track?

Simply stated, we've identified those most at risk, and should protect them, but let those not at risk return to work.

Please, what does Fauci have to gain? Your vid was posted by a user called Yellow Vests. Why does Yellow Vest want us to believe they are the CDC?

Ya know, I've been hunting enemy agents spreading lies and bigotry on the web for a few years. I've engaged with them online. I've been threatened on FB from weird users and my personal info is on the Dark Web so I must be doing something right. This Yellow Vest doesn't pass my smell test.

BTW, the testing we are doing (We have the lowest test rate in the world of Covis testing) is unreliable because the FDA backed off and does not test the testers. What I hear the problems we have now with testing is that there are too many false positives I hear it from people in the labs developing the tests.

Just curious. As you seem to be someone who has embraced social distancing as a lifestyle, I'm surprised that you you're not a "Do as I do" person and pointing out the benefits. Gotta go. Honeydew list is the order of the day.

The speakers are ER doctors clearly identified in the clip by names, the facilities they run, the California county they work in and the local news agency interviewing them. Why would you care which YouTube channel is showing the clip? As for your "enemy agents" theory, maybe you have been cooped up too long?

Cooped up? For sure. I have the need to interact with 10 new people a day to feel fulfilled. Please do this. Google those good doctors names and come back with anything not relating to the Covid story and Yelp. I got nothing. OTOH I googled 3 docs I work with and came up with a lot of links with their names. It stinks. I better clean the toilets now then mow the yard.

1st page on google for me was all links to the story. 2nd page was md aggregator sites. Use your google skill and see where he got his degree. I couldn't find it. My GP's info was all over the place. Anyway, I'm still curious why a person who lives the life of a prepper away from people by choice isn't selling it as the smart thing to do.
Sorry, I'll stand with accredited science rather than a business man MD. I'll predict the 2nd wave in late Oct.

If I'm a prepper I'm not very good at it. And you're damned right there will be a second wave in the fall, right along with flu season.

I heard that as well, we are not anywhere near the end of this. Just moved to a beach community in which I will never see many beach days this summer. Teaching remotely as I am this is going to be our new normal. Schools shut down for the year. I can't imagine going back at the end of August at this rate.

Just watched 60 Minutes on CBS. Only caught the last half hour but what I saw just reaffirmed my decision to listen to facts and not opinions.

I'll be frank with y'all, discussion here will do very little to influence my opinions one way or the other, as I do not know the professional and educational background of most of you, where medicine is concerned. The old-timers here will understand why, given my degree and profession earlier in my life.

I also do not pay a lot of attention to broadcast or print news stories on the current issue, preferring instead to read medical or epidemiological journals. The former needs to sell advertisement, which, IMHO, influences the tone any report and the information provided.

Bear this in mind: there are only two ways to obtain some degree of immunity and both methods can not be obtained without some type of contact with the virus.

Interesting question given this weekend...it was announced on Friday a new app from the government that once downloaded will track the user...the point not so much being where you are going but whom you come into contact with...(theres still an approximate of 500 cases yet discovered out there) - If you present with the virus, your phone will instantly be able to tell who else needs to be contacted and tested...The government thought there would be a slow take up of this "option" but as of this morning over a million Australians have downloaded the app with millions more expected to soon...this will help dodge a second wave and get us all back to "normal" as soon as possible.

The Territory is considering re-opening cafes, restaurants and some businesses maybe as soon as next week...We haven't had a new case in three weeks...And not a single person to person case (all 28 of our cases have been imported) The envy of Australia if the press is to be believed...

PS: The story on the front page 13.1 million council fund...My brother is the CEO of LGANT - The local Government Association of the NT - it was him who called Michael Gunner (Our Chief Minister) and put his case across and my brother who secured that 13 million. A champion effort as most of this will go to "hardship" initiatives being put together by the councils of the NT.
