I served in Turkish army for 6 months. But its not just for me coz in Turkey no willing systhem for army.
All Turkish boys serving to army for a time.
Well it was so funny for me, i learned alot of things there.
Used guns, have seen great military vehicles and more.
I was a military police sergeant there.
I will add some pictures about these army days.
I wanted to join to terror operation as a crazy but commanders didnt let me do that coz my job is history teacher.
And in Turkish Army educated people while they are serving, they cant join to operation or attackings.

I served as a 'National Serviceman' in the Australian Army in 1958-60.

I rose to the rank of private, and they taught me how to drive a truck. At the end of my 'service' the Army and I parted company with a HUGE sigh of relief and in mutual agreement that it was a waste our time and the governments money.
