    Here are some choices:

    Coca Cola - Pepsi Cola
    McDonalds - Burger King
    Microsoft - Apple
    Clinton - Trump
    Privacy - Safety
    This War - Other War

It is just an illusion of choice - it is either or, same things in different package.

I thought Trump said apple was "cr**`" and should be burnt on the cross... Or was it?

I can confirm that Kai. For me Apple is a cr**, I have used every iteration of it since the "Snow Leopard" I always have one extra Hackintosh box, for fun. OSX is a face-lifted UNIX, otherwise a great OS, but utterly useless if you want to do more with your computer except for surfing, emailing and writing documents. No serious professional software was ever written for Apple, except some very downgraded versions. Well, Photoshop runs well on OSX, I must admit. But that isn't what I really wanted to say.

What I wanted to say is that everything else on my list is a crap too, indeed. Americans deserve more choices than they are given. For example, to demand: "we don't want neither Trump nor Clinton - we deserve something better!" That is what I really wanted to say.

There was an interesting documentary in the UK years back that showed how Trump totally bought Scottish politicians and had the local Police force working for him when building his golf course in Scotland. All the locals who would not sell their land to him had to endure years of his contractors 'accidently' cutting of their water, sewage and electricity supplies on a regular basis as well as getting the access roads blocked or re-routed so that a 1 mile journey became 10 across ploughed fields. The man was interviewed and he openly derided the locals saying the 'lived like pigs'. The local Police force was actively arresting all those who protested against him and there was even an arrest on-camera where the film maker was roughed up and had his camera taken. Alex Salmond and The SNP were completely in Trumps pocket and did nothing to help the locals.

That is one of the (many) reasons that Salmond was 'relieved' of his leadership and sidelined to Westminster. He has the same endearing qualities as Trump - loves the limelight and comes up with childish, inane statements. Trump, however, can beat him hands down in the bullying department.

I'm afraid nothing is going to dramatically change anyway. Every US president fights with congress. Some more than others.

Given the choice between the two (Hillary or Trump) I'm going Trump. Stayed in his tower in Vegas, great spot (even if no casino inside) :D

    Touché.

I'll have a far easier time sleeping knowing that my candidate never excepted donations from any of the "Super wealthy" families or corporations nor any from states that support radical groups such as Bahrain, UAE and Saudia Arabia. ;)

That's because they are not "donations", but "business contributions."

So, when Trump's construction companies knock down your house to build a golf course...Hope you sleep well in a cardboard box.

Yeah it is a bit scary...I can understand a potential enemy not being comfortable about this...or the US's allies...

Could his little fingers actually push that button. What's the Donald "J" stand for- Junior maybe...
Could Rubio even reach the button (must be - this tall to be president).

...Hillary likes to push other peoples (women mostly) button.

Poppy, I still don't understand why they make buttons that shouldn't be pushed?

Ha... agreed. At least have a 4 digit password, with hints in case you forget.
    Name of your first dictator.
What colour was your first atomic bomb.
    etc etc

One of my favorite political insights is from the comedian George Carlin, who suggested that a person desiring political office means they shouldn't have it.

Would agree MrC...There are still great men, but the powers that be don't want great men. They want puppets.
They have Hillary cocked and loaded...The only reason i'd go with trump is because he would upset the carefully laid table.
Anytime KSA or other countries in that area say they don't want trump, is another reason i do want him.
Hoping trump ( he is not a great man ) will release the kraken (28 redacted pages of 911 report).

You've said a lot of things I agree with but nothing more than this.

An interesting possibility exists. If Hillary is indicted and subsequently still elected what happens if the trial is not complete when she is sworn in?
