There is also a "shoot" held each year south of me in Kentucky. We're talking full-auto here, submachine-guns, M2 .50 caliber, MG34 and 42, M-60 and anything you can pack--legally--into the range. I've seen film of them firing a 20mm electric gatling mini-gun at night... with tracer.

Theres a TV show here called "Mail Call" hosted by R. Lee Ermy--of "Full Metal Jacket" fame. He filmed a show-segment there and appeared to ahve a blast shooting-up junk cars loaded with explosives from a Hughes "Loach" helicopter.
My neighbor tries to make it down there each year... and I should go with him once. You can pay--for ammo--and shoot most anything you like.
