I must say I do like Team Brawn's cars its very refreshing to see a car that has not had its paint job and logos fired out of a cannon all over the car. Well Done Button for a fine drive and lets see some more please. Lucky Rubens getting 2nd place thanks to that incident in front of him, lucky old Hamilton getting third place after the FIA inquiry. Maybe this recession is a wake up call to the FIA, we the fans don't give a toss about the glamour & glitz we want top notch racing instead.
Just heard on the sports news on the radio Hamilton could be kicked out of this season race and no points will be awarded in 2010! I hope this is not the case or there will be a backlash against the FIA on this one.
WHAT A WASH OUT MALAYSIA WAS! Looks like there be looking at the start time on this one for next year.
Now Button is under the spotlight, what is going on? BBC SPORT | Motorsport | Formula 1 | Button braced for appeal verdict
Glad to see all is well with Team Brawn and old Button must be glad it's over. Now can we move on to the next race, please. BBC SPORT | Motorsport | Formula 1
Qualifying starts in about four hours. The final results of yesterday's last practice session - Hoping for a good result from Glock and Kubica, but in Kubica's case I have little hope.
Fair well Ron, probably a good idea to get away from the in fighting. BBC SPORT | Motorsport | Formula 1 | McLaren's Dennis quits Formula 1 Lets hope there are no rows this Sunday and a great race.
What an interesting season.... Vettel on shock pole for Red Bull BBC SPORT | Motorsport | Formula 1 | Vettel on shock pole for Red Bull
Congrats Red Bull... Chinese GP results 1. Sebastian Vettel Red Bull 1.57.43,485 2. Mark Webber Red Bull + 10,970 3. Jenson Button Brawn GP + 44,975 4. Rubens Barrichello Brawn GP + 1.03,704 5. Heikki Kovalainen McLaren + 1.05,102 6. Lewis Hamilton McLaren + 1.11,866
Good race which tested the drivers' skills to the limit. Great 1st and 2nd for Red Bull. Vettel certainly lived up to the sponsor's tag line! Steve W.
Brawn GP & McLaren, not forgetting there drivers not in the news this week? No Stewart's or FIA investigation? What is the world coming to?
Indeed a tricky race with lots of incidents but Vettel pulled it off for Red Bull for there first ever win, bet they feel like a million dollars now.
Joke of the day (?) What is the similarity between Ferrari and Force India: Zero points after three GP´s.... Also gotta wonder who programmed Massa´s computer if it shut down the engine...nice work there...
If the European GP´s start going the same way Ferrari will start making their comeback for the next season. At the moment I also think Alonso is not anymore so anxious to be a Ferrari driver...?? Anyway, quite interesting to see new faces on the podium and we´ll see how things will continue. Will the new Ferrari make the difference or not? I also read Brawn has been forced to kick out a remarkable number of personnel (?) so will that have an effect on the car´s endurance etc. Also what will the "lie episode" do to Hamilton and his relationship with Mclaren. Interesting season and the next one surely...
