I use it, It's nice in the sense that it helped me keep in or reconnect with friends from college and school, the other hand it has helped me stay in touch with some relatives, while we talk on the phone occasionally it's not as often as I would have liked. I don't play any games on there or post complete nonsense, I tend to just daily post a quote from some book or comic I have read in the past. I also don't like posting a lot of pictures, just a few I don't need to post pictures daily as if something has changed, like a lot of people do. My current picture which it has been for a few months now actually isn't of me, it's of Kilroy.

I looked there once after being invited to join-probably about 100 times or more? and I tried looking up a few old friends found their names there-times about 100 or more each. I had no way to know who was the friend and who wasnt? so I gave up and have not looked there in over a year.

I've had great luck with it, Carl...well I've had luck. Some great, some not so. Old girlfriends sometimes cause friction....but so do my wifes old boyfriends. I know I have more guns though.

Facebook is nice for people who travelled the world like me. I have found many "lost" friends through it.

I have a facebook, but don't pay too much attention on it. When I get home I usually just pull up facebook on one tab, and games on the other tab, and wait for some of my friends to go online. Thats all I really do on facebook. Chat. I've tried farmville and countrylife and I used to love those games but now its just blah...

Who needs facebook when I can post excessively here:) Besides either I would be dissapointed by how few 'friends' I have, or disgusted by how many claim to be.

lol yeah, once in a while someone would claim to be my friend, and once i messaged him (not by chat) and asked him why he wanted to be my friend. All he said was 'Add me on Countrylife'.

Last Thanksgiving I was invited to a high school friends house for dinner, his mother had to check her facebook account 3 times during a 5 hour visit!

Hi Luke, how do you know who is a past friend or such unless you get lucky enough to get pictures? None of the ones I tried, had any photos posted.

I dunno? I might consider an account temporarily, to see if I knew anyone there and get any contacts? I wonder what a decent amount of time is that I should wait in case I do get more electronic?
