    1, 2, 3, 4, or 5?

My favs were 3 & 4. Not to mention the excellent mods and supermods that added a whole new level to the SH experience.

I think Silent Hunter 3 is considered 'the one' in that series of games.

I've been getting into HOI 4 lately, though only through use of Mods. The game is so broken in many ways and the mods I use make things more friendly for the human player.

    Hi.

Well, my first WWII-related game was "Ostfront" on the good old C64 (shows, that I´m not that young any more….).

Later I played the Panzer General series and Steel Panthers. I also focused on shooter like Medal of Honor and CoD WaW was also nice as some parts were focused on the pacific battlefield, too. I also have Hearts of Iron II on my computer which in my opinion is still the best part of the series.

And to be honest I also play World of Tanks and World of Warships but mainly because they have japanese equipment available which is quite rare for computer games.

But there is one RTS-game I´m still stuck to: Sudden Strike 2.The original game wasn´t that good but over the years there were man mods published making it a still interesting game. There are also mods who doesn´t need the original game. If you are interested go to

Sudden Strike Maps - Aktuelle News

There is also a multi-language game forum at this page if you need support or help.

    Yours

    tom! ;)

Company of Heroes is my favorite PC game of the last 12 years.

I still play it on my Windows XP machine. I am annoyed that it won't work in Windows 10. I refuse to use Steam.
