I'll usually listen to hard rock, and metal. I also like some industrial rock and metal. I like sabbath , ramstein , and queen. Im probably the biggest queen fan on this side of the atlantic
I love Rammstein evan thought I dont know haf the stuff they are singing. Question if this topic revived every year around April?
You're really missing a lot if you can't understand their words. I don't really see the charm in their music without the words. Then again, I never really do see the charm in any music if I don't understand the lyrics, so I guess it's just me.
Thats why I do not look up the lyrics unless Im really interest in the song. An example is mann gegen mann, partly because I seen the video and ti disturbed me a bit. Till Lindman looks kinda like a drugged out Ozzy Osborne except a bit fatter.
Since Electronica was omitted from the list, I didn't vote. Besides, Roel is probably the only one here who justmight have heard about some of the artists I listen to c",)
Christian do you liek kraftwerk? I beleive they are considered electronika, they made some pretty good music. Their song cumputer liebe was campled by Coldplay.
Panzerman If you're looking for a challenge, I'll start out with 'Cyanide' and 'Search and Destroy'. Gunter Kraftwerk is nice (I've got all their albums, including both German and English versions, but that's more of a principle of mine).
IRION MAIDEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OZZY!!!!!! Judas Priest !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! System Of a Down !!!!!!!!!!!
For a brief (not) history of Gong check http://www.planetgong.co.uk/ Steve Hillage was a member at one stage before branching out on his own and arguably being more succesful in reaching a wider audience. http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_BAND.asp?band_id=774
