Hi Hysteria, any chance you still remember where you've read that claim? cause it sounds interesting. Welcome to the forums btw. Who says the ferdinand's ugly?
That was a Nashorn, and I believe the target was a T34, not a JS-2 (which had armour twice as thick as the T34).
many of napoleons soldiers liked the invigorating russian climate so much that they took a fast boat from latvia and moved to canada where they could continue to partake in ice skateing ,sledding ,ice fishing , snow shoeing and hockey almost year round ...the name que-back ? means ..hey why go back to the south of france when it almost never snows there....sure nice and the french riviera has the topless girls palm trees and sandy beaches but canada has ze little furrie beavers and lottsa snow and ice ..whats to choose ?
Where did that just come from? I believe Quebec was already part of the British Empire by the time of the Napoleonic Wars. Also, in this period, no topless girls unless you were in places of particularly low repute. And no sunbathing at all. People didn't take their kit off in public and were therefore very uncomfortable when outside in summer.
