Forum overloaded?

As mussolini says, its been happening for a few weeks now. But it aint the end of the world...This site has fewer problems than most, which is pretty damn good when as Heidi says, you see amount of users accessing 24 hours a day...Most companies dont have 24/7 without access going down. So ww2 forums has a pretty impressive and stable history.

Same trouble here and for at least a week to possible 10 days access troubles. Any other site I go on seems to work fine but I guess it's time this site (unfortunately for all of us Bugs who don't have much of a life outside of this place ;-)) has it's "ripples in time."

PS, I like the idea of blaming the French :lol: :lol: and also Former President Bush for this sites woes :lol: :lol:

yes I have had probs for over a week here, blank white pages like 2 minutes ago and simply cannot log on, only see the front page if that .........

Thats one of the problems when we are in sluggish mode.

Well I'm kindda relieved it's happening to everyone, thought it was just me and my "steam powered" pc. anic:

Does seem to occur more of an evening than anytime else. Can't see the link between the "Time Outs" and members on-line though, there are 542 online now and all is working fine, but I was having problems yesterday with only 316 online???

 

Its probably general traffic on the server the Forums are hosted on. I imagine the time coincides with people getting home from work etc and all visiting sites on the same server, cooking its capacity.

I could be completely wrong. It could be the FBI, using the time to scour the forums for Trolls...

 

I'm having problems too since last week, posting has become a major effort especially if after each failure you try to refresh the page to avoid double posting (sometimes it cuts you out after it accepted the post). Still it's worth the hassle, I am surprised at how well it performs on average compared to some "professional" sites I have to work with as part of my job.

 

Aye, damn them and their precision watches!! Personally I fill up grandpa with viagra, tow him out in the yard and use him as a sun dial.
