    .......Frank Sutton played USMC Sgt Carter in Gomer Pyle.....says in Wiki he was in the Army from 1943 - 1946 with 14 assault landings---this isn't possible, is it?? and I mean assaulting an enemy area. ..but it says he was with the Assault Signal Company....so, I guess they had to make more landings than the regular units? isn't that more than 2 per month counting until Oki landings?
