R.I.P. Leutnant! He does deserve his place in this roll of honor section
I completely echo Skippers sentiment. This Soldier definately deserves to be remembered in a place of honor. My hats off to him.
He does, may he Ruht in Frieden, Rust in Vrede, Rest in Peace.
Bump, so others members get the change to know him too. Since he is not that famous.
I will bump this old message. Sorry. But I felt I have to.
I just recently came upon the story of Friedrich Lengfeld. Such acts of bravery in the middle of horrors of war are one of the things that help me keep my faith in mankind. Even in the darkest hours of history some people still manage to find goodness within them self.
I wish everyone in the world would be like Friedrich Lengfeld, showing such care for other people's suffering. That would be a perfect world. While waiting for the perfect world, my salutes for the brave individual. I pray I can find such bravery if I ever cross such a dire situation.
Rest in Peace
A true Man of Honor.
