Hi Skipper, nice price and if im not mistaken? these should have an either a dark blue ribbon or even a light blue-or grey ribbon-one solid color. Ive seen these with I think one or the other? just can't remember off-hand? Dark Blue-one color ribbons usually were for long service medals-so it might be the lighter colored ribbon? Been too long since I last actively kept up with Imperial stuff.

Hi Skip, nice Imperial WB pin. This one looks like an early made pin because of all the great sharp details. Ive seen later made IWB pins and they don't look as nice. Great buy there ;-))

I had no salutes left so ya got the other.

Something new  : 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class (unmarked) and Hindenburg Cross of Honor (G4 marked). Good condition except for the little bit of damage to the Hindenburg ribbon ......it looks like something was attached to it at some point

Great items, sorry I hadn't seen them before, time to reactivate this fine thread, isn't it? Well here is my first German WWI Stalag dog tag. I didn't even know those exsited back then. It was issued to a French Sergeant and has the name of a famous WWI POW camp.

From what I know it was one of the biggests pow camps in the west. Possibly even bigger than Lambsdorf in the East .
