Many M42's are still found with a single decal on the helmet but double decal M42's need to be regarded with high suspicion . What is the maker mark and lot number for this helmet ? Even from the interior paint it is difficult to tell whether it is Heer or Luftwaffe !!

Heer , the artificial light has somewhat altered the general aspect, but it's green.
