This movie sounds a LOT like: Target Zero and the Sergeant in question was played by Charles Bronson.

Im not a big Vietnam War Movie-fan but IO liked this movie well enough to add to the collection.

Classic Robin Hood scene where Flynn is fighting Basil Rathbone.

Do you remember any of the other actors names like: Richard Conte as Lt. Flagler, Chuck Connors of The Rifleman fame, was Flaglers Radioman, L.Q. Jones was the GI with the sore feet. The lady with them is: Peggy Castle. They meet up with a British tank crew who are using a Sherman tank.

could that scene have come from final scene in pork chop hill, carl?

First aid under fire: army medics and Navy corpsmen provided life-saving services on Korean battlefields, earning the undying respect of infantrymen | VFW Magazine | Find Articles at BNET great story rom the war here, and also the mention of grenades too.

    * The fighting became intense as the Marines attempted to retake Vegas Hill on March 27, 1953. "The Chinese were above us rolling grenades down onto us," corpsman William Charette (F Co., 2nd Bn., 7th Marines) later recalled. "There were so many going off there was no way to count them. It was just a constant roar."

    Hi Mark, Ray,

MArk, me too. Been addicted to them since I first saw Duke in: The Longest Day, The Green Berets, Sands of Iwo Jima, Back To Bataan, The Alamo etc, and Clint Eastwood in: Where Eagles Dare, Kellys Heroes, The Outlaw Josey Wales etc.

Ray, I dont think so because the stuff used in PCH looked pretty good. I still think it was Target Zero even though the stuf looked as good as it did in PCH, it sounds more like Target Zero because of the reference to a Sergeant being a prominent figure in what he was talking about. Target Zero had Bronson as the sergeant and was a prominent character in the movie-so was the British tank sergeant-Kismet? I think was his name?? PCH didnt show many Sgts in prominent roles with the exception of Pecks two radiomen--Norman Fell and that other character ;-))

Hi Ray, I dont recall that term being used? its possible I guess? but I dont think it was.

Mucho appreciated in your efforts and future efforts. Target Zero weally is a gem of a movie and I cant see why it isnt shown more often?
