Wow, thanks everyone. Barbecue... now that's somethin' I'll eat anytime, anywhere, with my bare hands. :) Seems to be quite popular around here, haha, and why the hell shouldn't it be?

This forum is by far the friendliest forum I've ever been too, and what makes a forum for me is the welcome. But not only are ya'll friendly, but the knowledge contained within is overwhelming. So much so, in-fact, I feel like I know nothing when I want to join a topic, but again, that's why I'm here. But not only is it informative, I get a good laugh out of it too.

That's what I need at this moment in my life, I'm having a rough time right now, and humor cures all.

So thank you for being such an incredible group, it's a lot better than the typical forums full of stuck-up, ignorant people my age. I've talked to some people about WWII, and I've heard such things as "I don't care about what they did 60 years ago, it doesn't affect me." and man did I steam.

I gave that guy a nice reasurrance talk about how what happened in World War II does affect him and most likely his very existence, the impact of every drop of blood spilled, every man who put his duties before his own life and gave up his mortality for the world, every woman and child who stood behind their country as they wept for their fallen sons and brothers, husbands and fathers, every decision made in the heat of battle, every time a soldier finished sobbing and picked himself up and carried on, every slim chance taken and every odd beaten, and every man buried a world away from home, never to see his family again.

That right there makes me proud to be an American, no matter what the rest of the self-righteous world thinks, if not for the sacrifices of the brave men and women of the United States, Great Britain, and Russia, there might not even be a world right now...

Once, again, long-winded, but I felt that in order to explain where I stand on some things, I had to go all the way. Again, thank you for the warm welcome and
