High Tech German military

Do you have many other pictures besides ones with horses? Such as farm tractors pulling artillery and the like?

 

I would have to check my files. But I havent posted any because in the spirit of this thread a tractor would be more High Tech then a horse or bicycle.

 

What about men pulling wagons, you cant get any less high tech than that.

I can't find any of men towing wagons. But a few with Germans using handcarts.

 

so it is safe to say that a tad bit high tech, not cave man style. lol

 

LOL Yep. I had some pics of handcarts somewhere but I still can't find them. I really need to name the pics I have LOL.

 

I posted this in the Engineering thread. T.A. pointed out that it may be a wood gas converter LOL So I thought I would post it here too .

 

Yupper, that is a wood gas convertor. When I was in High School my best friend's Mom was a WW2 war bride from Weimar. Near the end of the war many of the city buses had been converted to "wood gas", and towed around those things behind them. The "fare" could be paid half in wood (for fuel) and half in coin.

Gertrude told me that there weren't many cellars, attics or bed-frames in Weimar with their full compliment of support cross beam supports by wars end.
