My lovely better half found this forum for me, while sovling an argument at work. She was super pumped, I was super pumped, and now she wonders why I'm on the computer so much. I tell her it's research and she rolls her eyes.

I used google about 2 weeks ago and found the site, but not until last week i signed up. I was looking for other ways to get my grandpa's war info and i had typed in about the 1973 archive fire and a post came up on this site about other ways to maybe get info.

I decided to stick around because im sure i can learn a lot from being around here, and i love history so it just seems like a welcoming place. tbh i know not a lot just the basic school type of stuff but ive been looking to learn more so hopefully with the site i can learn and hopefully share too.

The Angel of Mons appeared in my loungeroom, pointing to my computer and laughing that if I went to this certain place on the internet, I would find contentment and a whole bunch of rogues to argue and spar with

It does not seem that long, Suzie. You have quietly made yourself a valued member of the forum.
