If Hitler had developed nuclear weaponry, what would have been the target?

Perhaps the thinking during those times was to use the nuke as something like a blitz weapon. Launch it at the enemy, then rush in infantry to finish the job ?

That was what Mcarthur had wanted to do with the invasion of japan. First nuke the beaches before the troops arrive.

 

A He 177 (V38) was sent to the Letov factory near Prague in 1942. Its wings were removed, and modifications were made to its bomb bay to allow it to carry a proposed atomic bomb. It had low priority, and there was a lack of real interest in the project, and work on the aircraft finally stopped in August 1944.
