Keep going. None of you are even close.

Bear in mind that all of them were made by Springfield Armory but some others were made by contractors. The first were on single shot rifles, then bolt actions, and eventually on the semi-auto rifles. Time period covers the late 1860's to the 1950's. Use of this item did not carry over into the M-16.
