I purchased these two WWII prints at a local auction and was wondering if anyone might know anything about them and any idea at to the value? One is caaled "Fly Over" by Robert Taylor and the other is by Nichols Trudgian ..please forgive the glare from the glass .. Thank you Bamanut
well there must be some kind of secret as to how to insert pictures here so I will try and attach ...any infor would be appreciated. Bamanut
They look to be printed commemorative computerized drawings from the 1990s, framed posters in other words.
Only way they would be anything more than what skipper says is if they have a limited edition number and signature anywhere? - those two artists produce a lot of pics and most are mass produced, but not all.
It's a poster, the black surrounding border wouldn't be on a print. See here: http://www.kohs.com/Collectibles/Fine Art/Victory Flyover Sheet.pdf Went for $35US
These definately are posters. Ive never seen priints by either of these two artists that look like whats in the pics posted. I have known of and drooled over, many of their works for years but never pinched enough pennies to get any. When that happens? my first print will be by Don Stivors, and the next by David Pentland ;-))
