    nope

it will be in about 5 years when the youth of the country will attack the governmental buildings with oversized steam rollers clearing out the garbage and grinding it into dust

In 5 yrs Iran will have nuclear weapons then no one will go to war with Iran.Israel is saying that Iran will have the bomb in 2 yrs. And the world especially Europe will not allow Iran to possess a nuclear weapon. It will be interesting to see what happens with these sanctions at the end of this month.

Iran already has nukes. Sanctions have already been scoffed at by that fool and the peace with the UN trying to force it between Israel and Hezb including Syria, Iran and the whole Muslim world will be uneasy at best. I pity the UN soldiers that are going to try and keep the peace as they will be used as target practice. They sure were in 1980 - when I was in Israel, including the tourists and the media, things like this were never reported then and for good reason ........

inside info....yes as well as on the media during the very late night hours, especially Deutsche Welle. the educated youth, the government not/ will hopefully get smart and take whatever means they have at their disposal and indeed throw that clown of a leader and his cabinet right into the Med. ACtually a pond of hot boiling oil sonds quite reasonable.

If you discount the morons in power you will find that Iran may possibly be the most westernized of the Muslim nations the 20 somethings and younger are loving the new way of life since the Ayatollahs and it is tolerated in some respects ......... for now

The Emirates (ie Bahrain, Qatar, UAE et. al) are now the most Westernized. They have parlimentary style democracies or monarchies and are far more "liberal" than Iran.

    Richard,

I know what u mean when u talk about france. However i wouldnt sleep on the French and their ability to resolve problems militarily. Keep in mind that France at one point had the second largest empire next to England. That was accomplished with hard fighting. Remember that times change but people dont. If France truly needs to go to war they will fight and fight hard.

My kids might read this... they've only been Told about Agincourt, Crecy, Poitiers, Waterloo....

Thinking of the French I wonder how many of the Western powers in their Imperial or more recent eras have been theoretically allied with Iran before the Ayotollahs came?? Probably most of 'em?? Seems a good illustration of the initial serious cracks between 'Islamism'(Really don't know if that's the right word??) and the west, going so quickly from Supplying Chieftain/Shir, F-14's etc. to being at completely the opposite pole as fractious ideological enemies.
    Cheers,
    Adam.

But Richard also remember that Napolean was a phenominal leader. U give the French a leader close to Napolean and a reason to fight and they just might do ok lol.

I believe Iran could be that reason now all they need is the leader.
