Italian Canone da 149/40?

    All I know is that it had a fairly long barrel. Any stats, or other details?

    Italian 149mm L/40 modele 35.

    Max range 23,700 M
    H.e shell weight 46 Kg

    In service with XXXIII Gruppo 8th Raggrupamento D'artiglieria Di Corpo D'armata in N. Africa from Oct 1941.

    More than that I can't help you with at present.

    Good range for a shell of that weight.

    I read that it was mounted on some kind of tracked chassis?
