    Yugoslavia was till 1991, more than 18 years ago, now we have 7 new countries on this territory!

    There was also a camp in Trieste, the Risiera di San Sabba. It was a factory that was converted into a death camp complete with crematorium. Parts of it still stand today as a testimonial to what happened there. Read more at

    This was german c. camp. It worked Sep 1943 – 29 Apr 1945
