"Likes" changed to "Salutes"

    No such thing as coming in late LoriAnn, we like waking up zombie threads around here.

    Salutes and their limited availability are a part of the culture here. On previous versions of this site we had salutes as well, and will have them when we move over to our new server and the XenForo software soon.

    Oh good. Since I'm brand new, I notice I'm going through a lot of threads that haven't been touched in a while. I'm trying to navigate around here without being too disruptive. :)

    Medals are coming back. I must admit I've no idea what they will look like, but some sort of avatar fruit salad will be available to members.

    I've no idea at this stage. We've had several iterations of medals over the years, but I'm not going to put any effort into that aspect as we are essentially wiping out the this current system. I'd just have to rebuild it if I created it now.

    Otto, if you want ideas , I can provide some. What about a mix of features from several countries ? This would avoid the official aspect and trolls showing up with the "why are you wearing a medal you don't deserve" etc... You have already done so with the avatar of our forum soldier who is a mix of several nationalities.

    Cool, can't wait for medals.

    I've been on this forum for almost a year and this is the first time I realised that my "like button" should in fact be a "salute button". :)
