This is the WW2 Weekend in a nutshell. Of course, this is but a very small sampling of some 4,800 photos that I took, so if you want to see some more vehicles, troops, aircraft, antique cars, etc. Just say what you are looking for.
Fantastic work as our war correspondent Takao. Next year I'll get you a video camera and we'll hear the sounds of it.
Well, I did get some 3 short clips of the Sherman starting up, moving off, and backing up. The last one, backing up, came out poorly - I found out why, with Nikons at least, don't play around with the zoom while filming - It took about 5 seconds to refocus.
The stills came out superb. Some of those aircraft props looks like they are motionless and you had great angles on them too. A good camera and a good photographer combo. Nice work.
Thanks Otto. Just in case any one is wondering. The Camera: Nikon D5300 http://kenrockwell.com/nikon/d5300.htm The Lenses: Nikon Nikkor 18-200 VRII http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/18-200mm-ii.htm Nikon Nikkor 70-300 http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/70-300-vr.htm
