Volkbert, that is a super looking clasp. It's really a nice one. Since you like the Eagle Orders here is another photo for you. They are my favorite as well.

The orders with crossed swords were given to foreigners who assisted the military. Without swords was the other political award for diplomats, journalists, bankers, import and export, etc. Here is another neck order. This one is for Social Welfare given to Dr's, medical manufacturers, professors, red cross, anyone who might have helped the social situation during the war could have been awarded a medal in some degree. This is the highest, the Knights Cross for Social Welfare

    Mott5ranch, GREAT PICTURES!!!!!
As soon as I have better pictures of my medals I post some. Here is a picture of myself. I am sitting in front of a fireplace that Mussolini gave to Hitler. The fireplace is located in the Eagles nest in Berchtesgaden. The picture is a little big so be prepared.

    Good going Volkbert.

Oh NO, POTATO CHIPS have invaded Europe!

I wonder if Mussolini and Hitler ever roasted any marshmellows in that fireplace? Mussolini was supposed to be fond of them.

The War Merit Crosses you see: the full title to them are: Knights Cross to the War Merit Cross.

Good going Gary---your going to have to sell one of them to me. :D

In the Movie: "Enemy At The Gates" this is what ""Maj Konigs"" wore before being ""Killed"" by Zaitsev. ""Konigs"" son, ((In the movie)) was supposedly an Oberleutnant that had been killed at Stalingrad somtime earlier and had been posthumously awarded this decoration: the Knights Cross or the War Merit Cross.

Here is the Serbian Knights Cross of St. Sava. The details are wonderful, like most Imperial Awards they are beautiful.

I agree--this one surely is a beautiful award.

If you see this posting--please start another topic on Imperial miliatria--and post my Loyalty To The Regiment badge and the 5th Uhlan Kav Rgmt Cross on the 3 place medal bar and the 5th Uhlan Regminent Kav shoulderboards will ya?

I think the public is starting to wonder what these things look like--especially since I like to talk about them all the time ;) :D :D

As soon as I have a free moment I'll try to locate the pictures of Carl's stuff. I posted them so long ago I don't know if I still have them. I can post what I do have easy access too so to keep pictures coming here is another neck order from Serbia.
