Talking dosent work with these people. They'll continue to do anything to stay in power and theres nothing the people can do, because they have an army(civilian suppression force) they can repress the people and stay in power as long as they please. This is an instance where you fight fire with fire. I think a military coalition needs to take them out. However, it is unrealistic at the moment

my dad said that new arrivals to 25th inf div in cu chi , rvn in 68 carried 8 canteens in the field, a week later 6 canteens ,then 4 ,then 2 ,ect ...after a month in country one canteen would last all day ...in sept 1970 as a teenage army brat i stepped off a 707 at kadena afb in okinawa , i thought i would surely die , our first quarters were off base and had no ac . every morning i woke up in sheets drenched in sweat after a while i got used to it but it still pretty much sucked .young brits and yanks have sweated all over south east asia before and they could do it again.... but it would still suck ...

Most countries do make their troops train in jungle-type environments now. Mind you, I think both Britain's soldiers are employed at the moment - could we maybe send our boat?
