A Heinkel 274 or an AAS 01A as it ws called by the French. After all the final design was completed by Farman and the only ptototype bulit there. The palne started as a high altitude derivative of the He 177, but the final plane was quite different from the original He 177.
LOL the thing has four engines an a very visible twin tail and you notice the fuselage !! A variant of the He 277 would be a more reasonable guess but it actualy was a parallel development to the 277. And I wouldn't take anything for granted on defensive armament where the He 177 family is concerned, they probably had more variants of defensive guns than planes built.
A Photoshop B71 "canard fortress", can't enlarge the picture enough to look at details but I doubt any sane engineer doing such an experiment would have kept the turrets.
Burt Rutan wanted to retain the turrets when he scaled this prototype down into the Long EZ, but the FAA wasn't having any part of it.
A Beast is a Beast, is a Beast. You can see the family lineage. That is an SBC-4(the enlarged cowling is a giveaway), but since she is in British colors, or colours if you prefer, the aircraft in question is a Curtiss Cleveland I.
