Yes a Panhard converted by the Germans as a railway vehicle. AFAIK any armoured car could be easily converted, by just changing the weels, IMO as long as it's weel axis was narrower than the track width that's not going to be too difficult. I've seen a number of other vehicles (Soviet, German, Italian and Japanese) so converted. Back to you.
not Russian (and probably is new to you - was ww2 - after your time ) sorry edit; - was just before ww2 so you may have seen one (although still going in 1940)
Bad, thought it was russian for the AT-Gun. Hey you rascal, how did you found out my age,he! That will end bad for you if i find my crutches!!!!
A pre-war SS self-propelled anti-tank gun, way too many hyphens in my opinion. At that time the SS got mostly cast-offs. Is the chassis Austrian or Czech?
The chassis was the Czech T-3D (Skoda S-1-j) assault gun. The picture shows the Skoda LKMVP anti tank gun carrier. One prototype was produced in 1938. After 1939 it was called the PUV-6, This prototype was purchaced by the Waffen SS in 1940, the gun was carried on the vehicle but could also be towed , It was possible to fire the gun from the vehicle
I know it as a Hungarian V4, a weel and track design, possibly anphibious as well. AFAIK that picture was taken during the Italian evaluation of the tank as it's classified it their archives as CETEM 48/M.
Well I'll let you have that, The info I have is;- The light tank V4 was one of Nicholas Straussler's earlier projects.
