    If you haven't read Ship of Ghosts, do so immediately. It's a great story. I can't wait for his next book.

    On a similar note, read Atkinson's Liberation Trilogy about the development of the US Army in the West. The first two volumes are out. The last volume is due out in 2013. It is worth your time.

    R.A.L. thank you for the inclusion of this report. It is hard to imagine how horrible the fighting would be if you cannot see the damage done by the bullets and shells.
