Actually my reply was to Skippers post (yours hit the line first) but now you've let the cat out of the bag. You're planning a coup?!

You must remember the rule about being a staff person on a forum. "They're all mad save thee and me, and thee I'm none to sure about."

Well now that I've had my fun, I can say what I really feel.

I think Belesar is a very good choice. I've always enjoyed his posts, and missed hearing from him when he was gone. He seems to be highly motivated about his new duties and I thing he will do an exemplary job. Besides maybe his being a trustee will prevent another extended absense. :D Sorry dude, couldn't resist one more dig.

Brad is also a good choice. He may come across as a hard bitten, sergeant of the Foreign Legion, and yes he has more cooler time than the Bird Man of Alcatraz but that's only part of the story. Since I have been a member here, he has on several occasions back channel moderated issues with me. He has smoothed over misunderstandings, provided sage advice and actually proved to be the cooler head at times I would have reacted with anger. He could talk to me because I respect his opinion and I haven't said anything on the open forum out of respect for his reputation. I have no doubt that despite his renegade image, he'll prove to be an outstanding Trustee.

I'll have to rely on Ulrich, Urgh and Bobby (A-58) to keep me straight now. Boy am I screwed. Just kidding!

    Congrats to you both :salute:

I agree Price. Both of them are excellent choices. It looks like Belasar takes his duties without fear. Jugs, for all his bluster, is a good person to have as a Trustee. He takes the job, and this site, seriously. Congratulations to both.

Say it ain't so!!!! Brother Belsar I can understand. He's level headed, fair, studious (I think) and a true seeker of the historical truth and not to mention a cool dude, but the Jugmeister, jeez. Talk about going up the straight and narrow with a new MO. No more cheap shots, pot shots and riding rough shod over undesirables now. In the immortal words of Sheriff Buford T. Justice...."what de hell is da wirl comin too."

Congrats to both and I hope Jeff knows what he's in for. Does Col. Reismann of the "Dirty Dozen" ring a bell to anyone?
