Stefan or somebody from the island across the pond-send me a bog to sample-im willing ;-))

However, many Ami chips are now cooked using healthier choice olis-fats and such. Lays is a good example as well as Dentler Facs is-which are or were made in San Antonio..

    Well said. Also, I h

ad noticed a few shops in Corpus Christi-owned and operated by an elderly lady-and her family-Hispanics-to be pointed out-were Cuban and not Mexican-who in all of their shops located on Port Street in Corpus--which is one of the prime homes for drug addicts and prostitutes) all hung che-banners and posters in their shop windows and walls. They quit doing so after one evening-the front windows to their stores were broken out by somepne either who had plenty of bricks to spare-or who knew what che was about and hated communists. I suspect it is the latter of these two choices.

    PS, Well said Mike ;-))

That or someone who was totally ignorant of who Guevara was, what he was fighting against and what communism actually means, plus of course the kind of turd who thinks that it is appropriate to express their views through smashing other peoples property.

    When is tea time, exactly?

I have been out of pocket for a couple of days and now everyone is throwing fries and chips at each other. My how things change. Do the British types drink tea warm like beer too? I never have been much of a tea or coffee drinker, but here the tea is served cold, the coffee strong and hot, and the fries with burgers and poboys.

And what is a cavalry rupert?

That depends really doesn't it, I mean one was a revolutionary leader fighting against a genuine evil, motivated by ultimately good desires, the other is a thug smashing windows.

Guys this thread it getting absolutley pointless now and off topic too. I might as well close it. And who the hell rated it 5 stars? It's a disgrace for all our fine threads who actually deserve a high grade. I will leave it open for now, as it's better to rant here than home and cheaper as in a pub, but those are about the ony reasons I can find. :pzp:

    No, it doesn't depend.

Che was a thug and a murderer pure and simple. The only thing he was fighting for was power over his fellow human beings. He certainly deserved his end; he was scum.

    Speaking of thugs and scum..

"Didn't Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner (TAX CHEAT) say that it was not the administration's intent to control private companies? Then why is it reportedly reluctant to accept TARP repayments from some banks? If it has indeed declined to accept $340 million in payments from banks in Louisiana, New York, Indiana and California, the administration is tacitly admitting that it wants to control those banks as well as others that will try to pay back the taxpayers' money they took in the Troubled Asset Relief Program. By refusing repayment, the government can keep the leverage it bought with the bailouts. Banks that still 'owe' would not be in position to reject the administration as a 'partner.' This reminds us of mobsters making a small 'investment' in a family-owned shop, which is not always wanted by the owners, and then using it to justify taking over the business. ... Before his trip to Europe, President Obama, according to Politico, told a group of financial institution CEOs who were unhappy with the federal war on executive salaries and bonuses, 'My administration is the only thing between you and the pitchforks.' At the time, that sounded like nothing more than exaggeration. ... Looking back, these are small signs that reveal the administration's desire to seize command of the nation's financial system. The bigger, unmistakable sign is the reluctance -- or is it outright refusal? -- to take $340 million from four banks trying to be responsible and operate on their own. This shouldn't be happening in this country. The private sector and the state are not to be mixed. The American financial system is best directed by markets, not politics. Prosperity and liberty suffer when the latter excludes the former." --Investor's Business Daily

The federales are some of the biggest thugs around!!

And how will our new American Idol prez react to this item???

The U.S. Navy ordered its ships to the scene of a hijacking off the coast of Somalia Wednesday after pirates commandeered a U.S.-flagged cargo ship crewed by 20 U.S. citizens.
Officials would not say how many Navy ships are on the scene nor would it confirm the nationality of the crew members, but sources told FOX News the Danish-owned ship is operated by U.S. shipping company, Maersk Line Limited.
Pentagon Spokesman Bryan Whitman said he has "no information to suggest the 20 crew members of the Maersk Alabama have been harmed by the pirates."
The Department of Defense has taken the lead on information-gathering. Whitman declined to comment when asked if military action would be taken.

How soon will BO tell the US Navy to back off his muslim homies in Somalia???

Yes, when I think of windows being smashed as a result of political violence, the very first image that springs to mind is of Nazi brownshirt thugs on Krystallnacht.

    Cheers

A salute to the Navy then!

They acted before BO could react...if he was told about it anyways?
