Good to know. I didn't put a whole lot of faith in the online test anyway. Figured it was more akin to my Golf experiences. I was afraid to retake the test again and find out I was rated a bumbling idiot. We have a nine hole course nearby that's a par 36 and way back in 1995 I shot a 33. The Course Record was 34 at the time so I was doing my best to stay humble. It only took going back out and playing the same holes again and shooting a 43 ! The record lasted for seven years and was tied several times until a teaching Pro shot a 32.
A smart guy once told me: " A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing, I have just enough to be extremely dangerous !". Or something like that .
An average mind talks about people... A good mind talks about events... A great mind talks about ideas... Your last post not withstanding : )

Not sure if anyone has noticed but It's Snowing !! No really, it's snowing! it's been snowing here off and on for the last couple weeks and I'm getting darn tired of shoveling. Twenty-two inches of not so fluffy, read wet and heavy, stuff and the outlook is for an inch or two each day until Thursday. Oh well it could be worse. At least our daytime highs will be in the single digits below Zero rather than the minus teens and twenties with -40 windchills. That comes next month.

I've used this for myself, my daughter and most recently for the grandsons. Merry Christmas Published Dec. 21, 2022 WASHINGTON (AFNS) -- Every day of the year, the North American Aerospace Defense Command defends North America using an all-domain and globally integrated approach to track everything that flies in and around Canada and the United States. On Dec. 24 each year, NORAD adds a special mission: tracking Santa. Like many origin stories, NORAD’s mission to track Santa began by accident. In 1955, a young child trying to reach Santa dialed the misprinted phone number from a department store ad in the local newspaper. Instead of calling Santa, the child called the Continental Air Defense Command Operations Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Air Force Col. Harry Shoup, the commander on duty that night who answered the child’s phone call, was quick to realize a mistake had been made and assured the child he was Santa. After more incoming calls, Shoup assigned a duty officer to continue answering calls and a tradition was born, that continued when NORAD was formed in 1958. Each year since, NORAD has dutifully reported Santa’s location on Dec. 24 to millions of children and families across the world. Because of the support, services and resources generously provided by volunteers, our government and corporate contributors, NORAD Tracks Santa has persevered for more than 65 years. In fact, what started because of a typo has flourished and is recognized as one of the Defense Department's largest community outreach programs. Each year, the NORAD Tracks Santa website receives several million unique visitors from more than 200 countries and territories around the world. Volunteers typically answer more than 130,000 calls to the NORAD Tracks Santa hotline from children across the globe. In addition to the phone line and website, children and the young-at-heart can track Santa through mobile apps and social media platforms: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/noradsanta Twitter: https://twitter.com/NoradSanta YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/NORADTracksSanta Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/noradtrackssanta_official NORAD Tracks Santa Website: https://www.noradsanta.org NORAD Tracks Santa Newsroom: NORAD Tracks Santa's Newsroom
Trying something new this Winter. Setting up a bait area for the occasional Falcon that fly over our house. It's a circle carved out with the snowmobile. If it gets above the dam#ed minus 25F wind chill we had today I hope to expand the 'bullseye' to around 150 meters rather than the meager 80-90 yards it is now. Called the air guard and after the Lt. I talked to stopped laughing he assured me he'd pass the info along to the pilots. FOLLOW UP IN POST 2562 !
We have a couple bird seed feeders on the deck railing but I'm trying to entice this guys. I sent a email a few years back and let them know they could 'ripple the water' if they felt up to it. I won't say they did (regulations and all that) but I won't say they didn't either
Falcon plane or Falcons ON a plane...I think they are not too concerned if the plane has troubles..."Open the bloody door!"
Oh there are Sooo many possibilities open for comments to the above. I know I must be mistaken but that looks like a WW2 Ready room on the tv screen !
