I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT !!
Remember last week I said I watched two F35's fly over ? Well to be honest I was too ashamed to admit I was seeing something that couldn't be. I'm used to being contradicted and if I had posted what I Thought I Saw I'd be ridiculed right off the forum. My eyes were telling me I was seeing one thing but my brain was telling me I should see a therapist. What actually flew directly over my head were two F117 NightHhawks !! I found this and I can attest to the fact I'm not totally insane. It was bugging me to the point that rather than pester the Guard I'd do some digging.

I saw a couple when I was in Charleston, SC earlier this year along with a bunch of F-35's and some F/A-18's and possibly an F-22 (didn't have enough time at the distance I saw it, to say positively). I'm sure the F/A-18's and possibly some of the F-35's were flying out of MCAS Beaufort, SC, 49 air miles southwest of Charleston (mid-way between Charleston and Savannah). They have four squadrons of F-18's and one of F-35's stationed there, the F-117's, F-22's and other F-35's were probably flying out of Savannah. You don't ever believe everything posted for public consumption by the US DoD, for one thing you don't want your enemies knowing all the cards you hold. After the fact I learned that the Air Force conducts an annual exercise out of the Air Dominance Center in Savannah, Ga, Savannah Sentry. In fact, we were in Charleston at the tail end of the exercise, and they did have, F-117's and F-22's participating. Savannah is about 80 air miles from Charleston. My understanding is they now use the F-117's to simulate aggressor aircraft, which would make sense, it would be a pretty decent stand in for Russian or Chinese stealth aircraft.

Beaufort, IIRC, was the site of the first operational squadron of C-5As. Sen. Strom Thurmond was on the grandstand to great the Squadron commander, who had landed in the first plane.

    Sen.: Have any problems landing?
    Pilot: We blew a tire.
Sen: Was that a serious problem?
Pilot: no, we had twenty-three more.

I saw a F22 back around 2006/7 but never ever! Expected to see a Nighthawk!! I knew something wasn’t right due to configuration and rudder cant. Holy Cow what a year it’s been !

I had that very same idea a few years ago. Well maybe more than a few years - it was the early 70's, a long weekend and we were all having some awesome ideas. Thanks to Mary Jane and Jim Beam. Those two really liked to cause trouble.

They will - Darwin has an Emergency department designed for natural disasters and large casualties from our North (Indonesia etc) - Excellent doctors and nurses and surgeons - Most of which come from down south. There is a saying in Darwin "When in pain, get on a plane" - referring to the second rate health system up here...I think that has disappeared largely over the years, the quality of care is still high up here. (I was in hospital only last year).

Went to her liver and she got horrendous gut aches...Then her lungs and she developed a chronic cough then sat in her brain and caused plenty of problems...The surgeon who removed it totally freaked out when she saw it...Put it in a dish heaps quick and she watched it squirm around with eyes like dishes...! Got it from Python crap...Not washing the food she foraged from the bush properly...usually something you hear from PNG or Africa...A lesson for all here on your fruit and veg...China fertilises its crops with human crap...and people get worms...I wonder whether this sucker would have died from a simple anti worm pill?
Glad she got it out...Life changing without any brain surgery.

I got tired of constantly replacing paper targets and the tunnel in the hillside was getting close to collapsing so hung up a 8" by 10" steel plate steel to use. After a while I noticed there was only a 'splatter' with no observable remnants ? Cut out one side of a 24 can beer case to frame the plate. Here's what happens after less than 15 rounds of 9mm at 50 feet - 17 yards -(edit) = 15 meters.
    Shrapnel is nasty.
