Moral of the story : If they're peeking around a building, aim shoulder high and hit the building.

Ah..... skip shooting! Hard surface at about 45 degree angle, after impact about six inches off surface in direction of travel. Building, ground and most windshields depending on angle. Peaking around the corner, go way low where they don't expect you.;)

It's fun to shoot too ! The 1/2" plate has a bong sound. The blast radius does some serious damage on 3/4" pine completely around the target.
Switched it up today with a 1/4" diamond plate. Still splatters but an impressive dent!

When you swing a .50 you kill the shooter AND the building. No deflection needed.

I donated mine to the state emergency reaction team. They have a training weekend next to a local prison near here every year. The inmates hear that .50 singing and they have second thoughts about going rabbit. The State buy my rounds when I hold class on it.

You were the 'someone' I was referring to. I also don't have a tank but I've got an idea for a 75mm gun mounted on my side-by-side. Psst: don't let it slip, my wife might get suspicious.

I was offered a "fully functional ONTOS" a few years ago. Would have been fun rolling up on that prison in that track.

The Ontos was a very capable little track. If you could source some recoilless rifle rounds you'd be walking in tall cotton. Did it still have the four .50 cal M8C spotting rifles attached to the 106's?

I didn't actually eyes-on, the source was a cousin, and way too far away. (Next state over, four hours one way by car.)

Some say "Juggernaut", some say "shaped like a jug, so why not".
