    I have a helmet like the one's worn at the Battle of Hastings.

    I recall a post of yours wearing said helmet. After taking a selfie and looking at it I felt like a little brother!

    Today I learned I'm not alone.

    " Stephen Hawking may have been known as one of the smartest people in the world, but it turns out that there were things in life that even baffled him. An interview with New Scientist magazine a few years ago, to mark his 70th birthday, he was asked what he thinks about most during the day.
    Hawking replied: "Women. They are a complete mystery."

    Jack Nicholson, playing OCD afflicted romance novelist Melvin Udall, is approached by a big fan of his work. She asks him 'how he writes women so well', and he replies: “I think of a man. And I take away reason and accountability.”

    I experienced 'Fish & Chips' for the first time in Seattle Washington in 1964 ! I'd had plenty of fried fish and French fries before that but ever since then I've considered myself kind of a connoisseur. When you put it in a basket and sell it on the street it tastes sooo much high class.
    Peace

    A Connoisseur over Australians and Brits? Both cultures grow up with Fish & Chips...Its what kids call out for on a friday night! - You can get Potato scallops/cakes and Battered Savs! (savaloy) too!

    So being a Connoisseur, what did you think of the Australian fish and chips in the video? : )

    I'd offer up a picture of : flour, spices and cracker-crumb battered fried Carp or Catfish but darn it, there isn't any left overs and no one's been patient enough to take a picture before hands start grabbing off the platter. Oh here, grabbed a shot off the web that's similar;

    Seeing Dune II for the fourth time tomorrow. I gave up the next book, Dune Messiah. I may return to that after watching the movie. (2025ish)
