I've been perusing the inter-mail the last half hour and maybe it's time to take a sabbatical ;

There's just too much to keep up with so I think I'll crawl up into a ball and bury myself in my Fortress of Sanctuary. ( Fortress of Solitude depicts calm & it may take a while to attain that ).
Once I replenish my alcohol and cigar supply that is. So maybe Tomorrow.

What happens is beyond my control. I can influence my own environment only. I'm actually contemplating getting up one morning and heading off with only the clothes on my back, a knife and a flint. Just to see. Thankfully I'm in a area where I can walk for hours (days !) depending on the direction, and never worry about meeting another human being ! I'm also somewhere where I can build a shelter with the available materials. Hydration isn't a concern due to water never more than a quarter mile away and sustenance is readily available if you know where to look. Discomfort would be the main drawback.
One of these days I might just disappear. But only until I return to Reality
