    Skipper, with the direction and great help from the members of this forum, especially KERRD5 and JEFF Nichols from Tampa Bay (site handle unknown) they made getting all the records together possible, to prove that my wife's father, George Kious was KIA when exiting his disabled tank, while attacking the SS Barricks north of Munich, on 30 April, 1945. He was awarded the Bronze Star posthumously.

    I will ask my dad Ed Sanoba, who was in the same platoon as your dad, if he remembers this- I'll be seeing him later today.
