    .

‘Welcome to colour television’- Historical Australian TV moment colour television was transmitted…Choosing the popular Aunty Jack show to premier it…The show starts in black and white and then colour slowly floods in like water…a cool effect for back then. The vid is only 5 mins…showing the change…And Australia back then!

I can't think of a better explanation of why we fled Great Britain than the above post. Thank You CAC.

You mob are still more British than you think…As the British can thank the Romans for their foundations, the US can thank Britain for many/most of its pillars of progress. ‘What have the Brits ever done for us.’ Like the US, Australia has changed the things we don’t like about the British culture and replaced it with what suits us and our outlook on life. But we didn’t throw the baby out with the bath water…Remind me again, who’s language do we all speak?

All people are more alike than most think. It's the little things that creates hostilities and/or confusion. Like those striped skinny-jean pants and men wearing dresses. I like Benny Hill so I guess I'm just as confounded (Gobsmacked)! as the rest.

Holy Schmitt ------ realized CAC's living in 2024. We're such Neanderthals.
    HAPPY NEW YEAR Buddy !

We stopped carrying swords a long time ago. Being American we carry pistols which can be used ambidextrously .

    Happy New Year Gordon !

The Brits have a long history of wearing womens clothing…There are too many to mention, but Dick Emerey and Kenny Everett were favourites. upload_2024-1-1_1-12-44.jpeg
The Aunty Jack show was Australian, and all three blokes went on to successful careers in the industry…Especially Gary McDonald who, invented famous Australian character ‘Norman Gunston’ - Entertainer & Interviewer, having several of his own shows.
It must be remembered that this was 1975…Weird shite was going on everywhere (very much including the US)
3 Mins of Gunston interviewing Sally Struthers
