    What in tarnation is this contraption? It sure does look like a P-47 but I’m not so sure about it.

    Did you mean Ki-84? Easy to mistype. Excellent aircraft, showing how Japanese designers were willing to change their philosophy based on war experience.

    I helped build a generator setup similar to that "a few years ago". Timing without electronics was ... fun. I prayed to Lisan al Gaib.
