    Swedish Congo Armoured Unit

    In December 1962 two captured M 8 were pressed into Swedish UN service. On 31st December 1962 these ACs supported LtCol Bengt Fredman“s Bn assaulting Kaminaville. During spring 1963 this unit known as P 6 grew to four M 8:s and two M 3 Scoutcars. In 1964 it was considered to move the unit to Cyprus but instead the cars were returned to the Kongolese.

    I do know that their was a A-6 advanced trainer in air combat as late as the 1980's

    yes I think I ment the AT-6 anyway i hear rumors of one in combat in the 80's is there any conformation on that

    Not sure about the 80's but in the 60's and 70's I believe portugal used them in the colonial wars... Well, at least it's a military craft. We used Aviocars to drop bombs in there too :p

    well i supose but i thought that the plane was still a pretty cool thing to have in the 80's sorry if a little out of catorgory

    (Ps school blocked the ABC check as freeware so I am sorry about any mis-spellings)

    It really is interesting to see how many Allied WWII vehicles served far longer then the War and as expected :).

    And that the smaller countries especially the ones in Africa and Asia put them to good use too.
