Preflight maintenance

    That's kewl, I've been interested in doing some carrier deck scenes as well dml had a kit with a f14 display base that looks like the flight deck with catapult and blast deflector. They were inexpensive 3-5 ea got four cut them up trying to get both catapult stations and do a multiple launch scene. They have all kinds of deck display for 144 72 and 48 these days. I've always liked carrier planes US especially. Don't know why the Japanese had the wing tips fold about two feet like really they had others that folded more like our devastator and dautless. Must have been the wing design?. Anyway I think it was a good job you did good luck jigsaw1. LoL

    Had to watch flying leathernecks after seeing this. Wish they had used the Corsair I like that plane more and John Wayne is supposed to be Robert Ryan's senior officer but JW looked younger than RR. I know Marines flew hellcats but the Corsair just looks awesome. Found the movie on free streaming "military stuff"
