    I don't know if I am too late to give you some answers. I am Delphia Rogers Potter granddaughter. Sylvester Rogers was her brother. My great-uncle.

    I have several pictures of Sylvester along with mementos that my grandmother left me. I also have some of his old letters from buddies during the war. I would be glad to share any info and to let you know how he was killed.
